Living on boats in Amsterdam
This series is a collection of photos, self portraits and videos that look at my life retroactively from 2020 - 2022. I lived on multiple boats during this time on and around the Nieuwe Meer lake in Amsterdam. I feel a lot of positive nostalgia and romance when I look at these images. They depict a part of me that desired to examine my life in a creative way, and live accordingly to adventure and freedom, even in the confines of a city. The photos and videos had no planned synergy as they were taken at different times. Also, I never planned to release them as a series. They do posses a dream like quality, which I think reflects my state of mind at the time. Nevertheless, I hope you find some inspiration from the story if nothing else.
